It’s working!

I had to pinch me this morning when I saw that 2 persons filled the Contact Us form on my new Website to get more information on my Wellness Solution. My approach is simple: straight to the point, honest AND personal. No auto-reply, PERSONAL. I believe it is really important to talk to someone as a PERSON, not a machine. You will see on my Contact form that I ask for a phone number in case a person wants to be contacted by phone instead of by e-mail. That is how personal I am. More over, if she/he wants to meet in person for a coffee, I am also fine with that. (Assuming we live in the same city of course!)

If you could please do me a favor and let me know what you think of my new Website in the comment section below, that would be awesome. That way I will know that you are a real person, not an automated process that “like” my posts without read them only to get more traffic on YOUR blog ;)

 

When nothing happened…

Nothing happened since yesterday. How come some people  have something meaningful to write about every.single.day? Are they super heroes? Do they make stuff up or does it REALLY happen? I don’t know. If you do please light-up my lantern.

I spent most of the day trying to work on my social media presence. I also went to visit a friend of mine, who is also a stay at home mom, to bring her her green products she purchased from me. I know she will love them. Every one does. That is why it is so easy to do marketing for them. Then I did regular mama stuff like feeding the baby, laundry and vacuuming.

I failed… One day into my resolution of blogging every single day and I fail. I have a reason but still, I feel a little stupid.

My reason is that I spent most of the day yesterday setting up a new Website. I am doing all this to try to inform more people about this amazingly easy and successful business of mine. I believe that blogging is a good way but the more visible I am on the Internet the more people I will be able to reach.

I may have forgotten to mention it but this business is not about rainbows and sunshine. It is a real business, marketing real products. No illegal pyramid here, no huge investment with little return at the end. I work in marketing for a world leader in green consumable goods.

Speeding up the process

As of today, I am determined to write a post every day! I am not sure if I will be able to keep my promise but I will try. I swear. I have been ready for several days now on How to Generate leads for my business. Most of the time it goes back to buying leads. I refuse. When I started this business, I told myself that I would not spend any money on this and I won’t, until my income gets big enough that I won’t mind a few hundreds here and there. It is not the case right now so I won’t. Instead I will blog.

In February I got 2 enrollments. And because I attended a company meeting, my Product Introduction bonuses were doubled. Added to my monthly residual income, the check will be well appreciated when it arrives (usually on the 21st of the month).

With March break last week I was not able to work a lot on my business but Hey! I don’t mind too much since the beauty of residual income is to get paid month after month after month for work you’ve done ONCE.

Back in the game

I AM BACK! I have been away from this blog for waayyyyy too long. For the first 2 months I have a pretty good reason, I had a baby :) For the mamas out there who like numbers and details, here I go: I was induced at 40 weeks + 9. The delivery went well although the last hour was VERY intense. I went all natural, no meds, no epidural, and got a beautiful baby girl of 9lbs 14oz on November 7th at 10h50 P.M. She is a calm and quiet baby, she has been sleeping through the night since she was 2 months old. We now have some kind of a routine so I can go back to business during her afternoon naps, before the other kids get back from school. That gives me a big 1h30!!!

Again, working from home when I have the time is the solution for me. But not all home business are the same. The one I have is perfect since I kept receiving checks during the 2 months I was inactive. The amounts were not astronomic but you can count on me, they will get bigger and bigger. Trust me.

I got 2 enrollments in January, 1 in February and my agenda is filling up pretty quickly for the rest of the month.

* The numbers don’t add up because I’ve had refusals before getting the chance to make a presentation of the business but on the other hand, I have some enrollments that were made for me from members of my team!

What is your “WHY”?

There are many reasons why someone would like to start a home based business. Mine was obvious: stay at home to take care of my family. The problem was that I’ve always been independent and having to ask my husband for some grocery money really got on my nerves. I NEED financial autonomy to be happy. Going back to work and put my kids in daycare would solve part of the problem but then my mother’s heart would be broken. And anyway, with baby #3 arriving in less than 2 weeks, it was not really an option for the moment.

So the solution was simple, a home base business where I can work as much OR as little as I want (can), with residual income coming in month after month. And on top of that, this business is related to green living and environment, which are REALLY important to me. A win-win-win situation.

Your “why” to start a home base business may be different than mine, but bottom line, the business model I am in is the perfect one, and the one that pays the most the fastest. Of course, it is not magic.  Work is involved, but you set the goals, the timeline, everything.
